The problem

Supplement margins live in bundle size, but the old store sold single products by default.

The brief

A nutrition clinic in Malta offering consultations and programmes. A health service, which brings both regulatory care and a particular kind of reader.

The credibility problem in nutrition

Nutrition is a field where qualified practitioners compete for attention with people who have none, and the unqualified are frequently better at marketing. A reader who is being careful knows this and is looking for the difference.

Qualifications are therefore stated precisely: the actual credential, where it was awarded, and what registration is held. Vague phrasing like certified nutrition expert is what an unqualified practitioner writes, and using it puts a qualified one in the same category.

Claims and the line around them

Health claims are regulated in the EU and Malta, and the boundary between describing a service and implying a medical outcome is easy to cross by accident.

The copy describes what the service involves rather than what it will achieve. Where outcomes are mentioned they are attributed and general rather than promised. That is both a legal necessity and, for a careful reader, more convincing than a guarantee.

Programmes as structured content

Each programme states its duration, what is included, how many consultations, and what happens between them. Someone deciding between programmes is comparing those specifics, and prose descriptions make comparison difficult on purpose, which readers notice.

Booking

The form asks for contact details and a preferred time, and nothing health-related. Health information collected through a web form creates a data protection obligation that a small clinic does not need, and it belongs in the consultation.

Design

Clean and clinical without being cold. Photography is of the practitioner and the clinic rather than of arranged vegetables, which every competitor uses and which says nothing about this practice.

The build

WordPress with programmes, consultations and articles as structured types. Programme details are fields, so a comparison view stays accurate as programmes change.

Local and international

Malta is small and English-speaking, and the clinic serves both residents and visitors. Location and hours are marked up as structured data for local search, while the programme pages are written to make sense to someone booking from abroad.

What the client can manage

Programmes, availability, articles and clinic details.
